What I Believe
(in case you are wondering)

Picture
First: You absolutely, positively do NOT need to subscribe to my beliefs. When we work together, I show up with zero religious dogma or judgment. I usually don't even talk about what I believe. I'm just sharing here in the interest of transparency.

About "God"
  1. Deep in my bones, I know there is more to this world than meets the eye. There is something greater than us - call it Chi, God, Source, the Light, Spirit, the Divine - or the Force - it's all the same thing, and honestly, the name does not matter. (I won't even mention it if you don't want me to.)
  2. This "something greater" is a source of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
  3. The "something greater" is everywhere, all the time. Therefore:
  4. You already have a direct relationship with the Divine. You do not need clergy to interpret God for you, or to intervene on your behalf. This also means:
  5. We are all equal - ALL of us. And it means:
  6. We are all in this together.

A word about my ordination:

I am ordained in the non-denominational Sanctuary of the Beloved. The order has no creed, oaths, dogma, or hierarchy. I take this ordination seriously - it's not just a printout from the internet. Folks ordained by the SOTB make a lifelong commitment to service, healing, and teaching in whatever way we choose.

Words from the Sanctuary of the Beloved, about folks who are ordained:
  • HOW we serve is through free will and individual expression.
  • WHY we serve is to aid transformation.
  • WHAT we serve is the planet and all therein.
  • WHERE we go from here is to continue to renew our vow through the practice of spiritual principles on a day-to-day basis and in a down-to-earth, practical fashion to KEEP IT SIMPLE AND KEEP IT SACRED.

I believe in kindness. Also in mischief. -Mary Oliver
